New Hope GC Kiyose

My 2nd of 2 workshops on the day but always genki when I'm conducting a workshop with a new choir. My first time at this church and when I walked through the door I heard Angels singing! The sanctuary was all white and you just felt peace and serenity as you entered! You feel welcome in this place. This church reminded me of the wedding scene from "Madea's Family Reunion."

It's a whole different situation here. The pastor also provides hospice care for terminal patients. His wife and daughter are all part of this, "eternal" Kingdom Business! He's also very fluent in English and maybe even funnier than me! Ok he is! That was a first for me that someone could go ahead of my jokes and make them funnier!

Oh yes and we were singing as well. They had some of their employees and some of the church members in the workshop. A few guests as well. It was so cool! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the group sang, sang, sang! It really seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves.

Of course after the workshop it was time for M.G. & E. (Meet. Greet. & Eat). That was indeed the longest I've ever spent talking, sharing, listening and praying but didn't want to stop even though it was almost 11pm. What a blessed time of fellowship! Love them!
